Data is limited to the stated purpose. It is not sold or used for unrelated campaigns. Required fields are identified for each service; without them the request may not be fulfilled. The public byline is agreed with the contributor and their email is not published.

Personalisation. The newsletter is tailored to the topics and frequency selected when requesting it. Contributing does not subscribe you to the newsletter.

Providers and recipients. Requested verification emails and newsletters are sent through Resend. Data may be disclosed to authorities where legally required.

Retention. Subscription data is retained while the subscription is active; communications, while requests and resulting action are handled; and contribution data, while publication and its permission remain in place. Afterwards, only data necessary to evidence management and address liabilities is retained with restricted access for the applicable legal periods.

Rights. You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability where applicable, or withdraw consent, at terms [at] dorsal [dot] media. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency at https://www.aepd.es/. Additional identity verification will be limited to what is necessary.

The website uses cookies and browser storage to provide requested features, such as access, saved articles and interactions.

The service helps users find original publications and consult contextual information, primarily for research and study. This purpose does not imply academic accreditation or institutional affiliation.

Dorsal generates descriptions using artificial intelligence configured with its own editorial instructions and criteria, based on information provided by the sources. These descriptions provide a perspective focused on research and analysis of artificial intelligence in the creative industries. Each resource identifies its source and links to the original publication.

Users must use the service in accordance with applicable law and respect third-party rights. Advertising and sponsorship, where present, will be identified as such.

Intellectual property

Rights in linked publications belong to their respective right holders. A reference or description does not grant reproduction or exploitation rights in that publication.

Dorsal materials are governed by their applicable rights and licences. Uses permitted by law and expressly stated permissions remain available.

Authors retain their rights; publication takes place in accordance with the agreed permission.

Links provide access to external sources. Their inclusion does not imply affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement by their owners. Each source has its own terms and privacy policy.

General terms

These terms are governed by Spanish law and applicable European Union law, in particular Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services and electronic commerce; Regulation (EU) 2016/679; Spanish Organic Law 3/2018; and the consolidated Spanish Intellectual Property Act approved by Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996. Jurisdiction is determined under applicable rules, including mandatory consumer rights.

Changes do not retrospectively alter agreements or replace consent required for different processing. If a provision is invalid, the remaining provisions that can continue independently remain applicable.

Send enquiries, corrections or rights requests to terms [at] dorsal [dot] media. Source exclusion requests are described on the Source opt-out page.

Abuse

The service must not be used to distribute unlawful content or spam, impersonate others, gain unauthorised access or interfere with its security or operation. Reports may be sent to the legal contact.
